DISCUSSION ON EQUIPMENT
AND SOFTWARE
This will be a chance to discuss any problems we are having with our software and to view different equipment belonging to other members.
Wed. July 4th
PROJECT EVENING
This will be a chance to gather together any filming we have done for the celebrations for the Queen’s Jubilee, with a view to deciding how to edit it.
Wed. Aug. 1st
We may have a social evening – perhaps a pub meal. Or we may decide on something else.
Our meetings start at 7.45 p.m.
and generally finish by 10.30. They will be held in one of the rooms at the Royal Jersey Showground. Confirmation of any meeting can be sought by contacting
one of the Officers.

Since 2008 the fantastic Branchage Film Festival has taken place here in Jersey. In 2011 there was an Editing Masterclass by David Charap, acclaimed editor of documentaries and our member Mike secured an interview with him which can be seen here

NEWS
We would like members to film as many events as possible during the celebrations for the Queen’s Jubilee, which will mainly take place during the week starting June 2nd.
It is hoped that we shall then be able to edit the footage to create a worthwhile archive film of this auspicious occasion.
