SERIAC and the Sussex Film Festival
The South East Region of the Film and Video Institute (SERIAC) is the area to which we belong, and we are specifically linked to Sussex with regard to competitions.
This boutique Film Festival, held in Jersey, has now become very popular and offers a chance to see professional and amateur films, not readily available otherwise and generally screened in unusual locations. Included are several sessions devoted to short amateur films, for which local submissions are requested.
Guernsey International Short Film Festival
This competition aims to replace the very popular Guernsey Lily Film Festival, which ceased in 2010. There will be no Festival in 2011, but check the site for future news.
The Jersey Arts Trust assisted the Club with funds for our projector, and is a source of information with all matters involving the arts in Jersey.
Visitors to the the island should find all the information that they need here.
